Residual Landscapes

Residual Landscapes is an ongoing photographic series exploring the physical traces of consumption, industry, and environmental neglect within the urban environment. Through the use of chemical manipulation, each image is intentionally altered to reflect the contamination and deterioration that human activity leaves behind, transforming the photographs themselves into damaged artefacts rather than passive records.

The series focuses on spaces that exist in the aftermath of purpose—abandoned industrial buildings, forgotten streets, and the accumulation of waste that quietly becomes part of the landscape. The chemical processes introduce stains, discolouration, and decay across the image surface, mirroring the invisible spread of pollution through our ecosystems and communities.

Rather than documenting environmental damage from a distance, Residual Landscapes seeks to embody it, asking viewers to consider not only what we consume, build, and discard, but also what remains long after those actions have passed.

As an emerging photographer and founder of Crocodile Studio, each work is released as a unique one-of-one edition. Early collectors have the opportunity to acquire original pieces at introductory prices as the collection grows.

Quite Places

Beneath the Canopy is a photographic exploration of stillness, memory, and our enduring relationship with the natural world. Created within familiar woodland landscapes, the series focuses on moments that often go unnoticed: shifting light through branches, worn paths through the undergrowth, and trees that have stood witness to decades of passing seasons.

In contrast to the speed and noise of contemporary life, these images invite a slower way of looking. The landscapes are not presented as dramatic wilderness or untouched environments, but as living spaces that exist alongside us—places of reflection, movement, and quiet continuity.

The photographs explore nature not as spectacle, but as presence. Ancient trees become monuments to time, pathways become invitations to wander, and changing light transforms ordinary scenes into moments of contemplation. Together, the works ask viewers to consider the value of silence, the importance of connection to place, and the restorative qualities of landscapes that continue to endure beyond our attention.

Beneath the Canopy is ultimately a celebration of the quiet beauty that surrounds us and the importance of preserving our ability to experience it.

Silent Giants

'Silent Giants' is a photographic study of presence, endurance, and quiet permanence within the woodland landscape. The collection focuses on individual trees and secluded spaces that stand as witnesses to changing seasons, passing generations, and the continual movement of the natural world around them.

Rather than documenting nature as spectacle, these images invite a slower way of seeing — drawing attention to texture, light, scale, and the subtle relationships between trees and the spaces they inhabit. Towering pines emerge above dense undergrowth, ancient trunks anchor themselves within clearings, and hidden woodland interiors reveal moments of stillness often overlooked.

Together, the works explore the idea of trees as guardians of place: silent monuments that shape the character and memory of the landscapes they occupy. In an increasingly transient world, Sentinels offers a reflection on longevity, resilience, and the enduring presence of the natural environment.
